Friulano D.O.C. - La Roncaia - White Wine
Why we like it:
It has the colour of the sun, the perfume of wild flowers and hints of almond, a soft, well-balanced palate. Friulano is an elegant white wine with characteristic regional traits. The fully ripe grapes are harvested in late September in Tarcento vineyards.
Appearance: deep straw yellow, with gold glints.
Nose: redolent of wild-flowers, hay and almond.
Palate: smooth, well-balanced; the palate reflects the nose. The slightly bitterish finish is typical of the Friulano grape.
Ideal with Prosciutto di San Daniele, Montasio fresh cheese and
well-structured first courses.
